“Getting Started Seminar for New FSOs,” November 13 – 14, 2018 (Washington, DC)

This course is open to Facility Security Officers (FSOs) and Assistant Facility Security Officers (AFSOs), Security Specialists, and anyone employed in the security environment (such as Human Resources, Administrative Assistants, Program Managers, and Military Members exiting the various Armed Services). Due to the expansion of the counterintelligence block, this course is now extended to two full days. A prerequisite course titled “FSO Role in the NISP” is required for seminar registration and must have completed after 23 November 2015. Once you register for the course, you will receive an email stating “A request to register for the course has been sent!” Our Registrar’s Office will send a follow-up email to complete your registration. Please be patient as we work with our new STEPP system.

Come join us, we would love to see you there.

FSO Toolkit Updated

The FSO Tookit has been updated! The Toolkit now includes the Asset Identification/Security Baseline, Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM), and Insider Threat categories. The Asset Identification/Security Baseline category contains resources that will assist your facility in identifying assets and completing a security baseline. The SCRM category of the toolkit provides additional key resources that will assist a contractor during a Comprehensive Security Review or an Enhanced Security Vulnerability Assessment.
