Registration is now open for the 2022 Virtual DOD Security Conference on October 12-13! This year’s conference theme is “Developing a Resilient Security Workforce in a Changing Environment.” The agenda will include policy change and implementation updates on topics such as security in a digital world, operations security, controlled unclassified information, personnel security policy, PERSEREC studies, and more. The conference is open to .mil and .gov email holders.

December Cybersecurity Instructor-led Course

The next “Assessing Risk and Applying Security Controls to NISP Systems,” instructor-led course is scheduled to start December 5, 2022. This five-day course provides students with guidance on applying policies/standards used to protect information within computer systems, as delineated by the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.  Learn more by visiting the course page.

The Security Training, Education, and Professionalization Portal (STEPP) will undergo maintenance and will be inaccessible on the following date:

Duration: 4 hours
Reason: systems maintenance
 
During this window, STEPP users will be unable to access the system.  Also, note STEPP has a daily maintenance backup from 1:00 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. ET. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
