Fall Registration for Education Classes Now Open

Registration is now open for the fall semester of CDSE Education classes that run from August 24 to December 18, 2020. Classes fill quickly, so please register early to secure your spot in the fall semester.

Save the Date for 2020 DVSC: June 23-24

Mark your calendars for the 2020 DoD Virtual Security Conference (DVSC) on June 23 and 24! This year’s conference theme is “2020: A Vision of the Future of Security.” The agenda will include policy change and implementation updates on topics such as SEAD 3, JPAS, Insider Threat, Mobile Device Policy, Industrial Security, and CUI. The conference is open to .gov and .mil email holders. Stay tuned for more details.

New NISS Job Aid and FSO Curricula Update

On May 6, the National Industrial Security System (NISS) External User Training IS127.16 eLearning course will no longer be available in STEPP. This course will be removed from the FSO Orientation for Non-Possessing Facilities IS020.CU and FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities IS030.CU curricula.

The new NISS External User Guide job aid, released by DCSA, is available now. You can find it on the Facility Clearance page of the FSO Toolkit

Security Training, Education, and Professionalization Portal (STEPP) Notice

STEPP has a scheduled maintenance outage and will be unavailable on Thursday, May 14, from 7:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. EDT.
