Description: The CDSE Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Security (Generalist) is designed to provide Department of Defense (DOD) employees with the skills they need to succeed in a Security Generalist career path. This certificate is made up of four courses that facilitate an understanding of the bureaucratic politics and organizational approaches used to perform cross-disciplinary security functions within DOD, as well as security program evaluation and assessment procedures, and the legal requirements that define and limit the DOD security mission.

To participate in the PBC Security (Generalist) Certificate program, prospective students must meet the admission eligibility criteria.
