Course Admission Requirement
Registration is restricted to U.S. military service members and U.S. Government civilian employees. [Notice some courses require the purchase of textbooks]
Security Fundamentals Professional Certification is recommended for all courses.
Student success
Students must complete reading, research, and writing assignments similar to a university graduate program.
Students who have no experience taking graduate courses are encouraged to complete the course ED202.10, "Writing and Communication Skills in the Security Environment," before taking other courses in this program.
Please consider adding one or more of these courses to your Individual Development Plan (IDP).
Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Admission Requirements
Obtained a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited higher education institution.
Must currently be either a U.S. Government civilian employee or a U.S. military service member
(U.S. Government contractors are not eligible to participate)
Must be a United States citizen
Must have successfully passed at least one CDSE Education course with a final score of 80% or higher
Must have an updated account in the Security Training, Education, and Professionalization Portal (STEPP)
