Course Admission Requirement

• Registration is restricted to U.S. military service members and U.S. Government civilian employees. [Notice some courses require the purchase of textbooks] 
• Security Fundamentals Professional Certification is recommended for all courses.

Student success

• Students must complete reading, research, and writing assignments similar to a university graduate program.
• Students who have no experience taking graduate courses are encouraged to complete the course ED202.10, "Writing and Communication Skills in the Security Environment," before taking other courses in this program.
• Please consider adding one or more of these courses to your Individual Development Plan (IDP).

Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Admission Requirements

• Obtained a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited higher education institution.
• Must currently be either a U.S. Government civilian employee or a U.S. military service member (U.S. Government contractors are not eligible to participate)
• Must be a United States citizen
• Must have successfully passed at least one CDSE Education course with a final score of 80% or higher
• Must have an updated account in the Security Training, Education, and Professionalization Portal (STEPP)
