Description: 

This course presents an in-depth look at how to work within the Federal and DOD bureaucracy to accomplish security missions and objectives. The course will address how security professionals can support military operations and DOD programs most effectively. The course includes in-depth study of the missions, jurisdiction of, and limitations upon the many agencies and offices involved in security policy and programs.

Prerequisites: None. Security Fundamentals Professional Certification SPED030.SP is recommended but not required.

Requirements: Agency recommendation: This course requires students to complete weekly assignments including reading, research, and writing assignments similar to those required for a three semester hour graduate-level course. Students must make significant commitment of time to complete these assignments.
