Description: This course presents the specific statutes, regulations, and Executive Orders driving the establishment and implementation of DOD and federal security programs.

Prerequisites:  Security Fundamentals Professional Certification SPED030.SP is recommended but not required. 
 
Requirements: Agency recommendation: This course requires students to complete weekly assignments including reading, research, and writing assignments like those required for a three semester-hour graduate-level course. Students must make a significant time commitment to complete these assignments. 

Professional Development Units per SPēD: PDUs are determined by length of course and IAW current Certification Maintenance Guidelines.
