Description: The National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) Change 2 was released on May 18, 2016. The revised policy issued Insider Threat Program requirements for industry. Industry program managers are responsible for the implementation of an effective program within their facilities by November 30, 2016. This symposium offers subject matter experts from Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Policy, General Counsel, National Industrial Security Program (NISP) Authorization Office (NAO), and the Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE), who discuss the policy requirements to assist industry Insider Threat Program Managers in establishing a program. The agenda includes topics such as training for individuals and program personnel, civil liberties, legal issues, senior official qualification requirements, inquiries and reporting, Insider Threat response action, and monitoring of classified systems.

Length: Three 60 minute sessions with one hour break for lunch
