Registration Now Open for Fall 2025 Education Courses

Registration for CDSE Education classes for the upcoming Fall 2025 semester is officially open. All CDSE graduate-level courses have been evaluated by the American Council on Education (ACE) for credit recommendations, allowing you to transfer your credits toward the completion of a degree program. Those eligible to take these courses are U.S. Government civilian employees or U.S. military service members. The best part about CDSE education course; they are free! DCSA to Update Security Training URLs

STEPP (CDSE Learning Management) and SAH (CDSE Security Awareness Hub) are moving to DCSA-owned domains to align with DCSA’s mission of providing premier security training services. Users will need to update URL links only if they bookmarked. The new URLs will be active on or before June 30, while the old URLs will be deactivated on June 30. The new STEPP link can be found here, while the new SAH link can be found here. Training access will remain available, and no other impacts are anticipated. There is no impact to login, please use your current login process. The STEPP FAQs page can be found here.

DCSA Security Conference for DOD

Save the date! The virtual DCSA Security Conference for DOD will be held August 26-28. This year’s theme, “Mission and Security Integration: Safeguarding the Future,” emphasizes the importance of aligning DOD mission objectives with integrated security strategies to protect our defense personnel, technologies, equipment, and warfighters. More than 3,000 security professionals are expected to attend this key event. Stay tuned for upcoming registration announcements.

Catch CDSE’s Behavioral Threat Analysis: Recognizing Concerning Indicators webinar June 26 from 12-1:30 p.m. ET. This webinar will provide an overview of Shaw and Seller’s Critical Pathway to Insider Risk. Cycles of incivility arise when individual and organizational behaviors of concern intersect. Mark your calendars! Register now for CDSE’s Physical Security and Asset Protection instructor-led course August 18-22 in Linthicum, Md. This five-day course focuses on regulatory guidance, methodologies, and concepts for protecting DOD assets. After completing the course, students will be able to review and demonstrate knowledge of physical security concepts, measures, countermeasures, and aids, as well as Analyze threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to DOD assets and the different methodologies to manage risk.
