Description:
This course will provide an educational opportunity for mid-career security specialists to gain in- depth knowledge, skills, and understanding of leadership principles and skills needed to support DOD security programs.
The course will develop each student's ability to use this knowledge to become more effective as security leaders in the Department of Defense (DOD). The course includes instruction and activities in an interactive online collaborative learning environment, and assignments that each student will prepare independently. The course includes case studies and other methods of instruction that facilitate in-depth analysis of complex issues related to leadership to support DOD security programs.
The course addresses principles and how they can be applied in the DOD security environment. The course is designed to help prepare the senior security manager to demonstrate strong leadership in support of DOD security programs.
