Getting Started Seminar for Facility Security Officers

This course is not only a great way to get started as a new FSO, but also a way for experienced FSOs to keep informed on industrial security guidance and emerging trends. DCSA Security Academy Industrial Security team released a new security video titled Counterintelligence Reporting Requirements for Industry. This video summarizes the counterintelligence reporting requirements for individuals operating within the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) to protect national security and safeguard classified information. Fundamentals of National Security Adjudications (PS101.10)
Further your understanding of adjudications with CDSE’s Fundamentals of National Security Adjudications virtual instructor-led course. This 7-day course covers the fundamentals of the personnel security program, such as history, laws and regulations, personnel security investigations, security clearances, and sensitive positions. This course is recommended for DOD and federal civilians who adjudicate eligibility for assignment to sensitive positions, or government Civilian/Military personnel (non-adjudicators) who perform duties in support of national security adjudications.
