Description: This course provides individuals from non-DOE agencies who have access to Restricted Data (RD) or Formerly Restricted Data (FRD) with an overview of the unique characteristics of RD and FRD and the requirements for identifying, marking, handling, and declassifying these categories of classified information.

  • Students shall understand the unique responsibilities, authority, and markings for Restricted Data and Formerly Restricted Data and meet the training requirements for persons with access to Restricted Data and Formerly Restricted Data under Title 10 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) Part 1045, "Nuclear Classification and Declassification".
