New Counterintelligence Awareness and Security Brief Course
The Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) recently launched the Counterintelligence Awareness and Security Brief course (CI112.16) which can be viewed on both the Security Training, Education, and Professionalization Portal (STEPP) and Open eLearning. This course provides a Facility Security Officer (FSO) an off-the-shelf brief to meet the National Industrial Security Program Manual (NISPOM) requirement for an initial or annual security brief. The course emphasizes the foreign threat, foreign collection methods, vulnerabilities, insider threat, and reporting procedures. The target audience for this course is the cleared defense contractor employees; however, it can also be used by any security officer delivering a security briefing. Register for the course through STEPP or Open eLearning site.
Revised Senior Agency Official Annual Self-Inspection Report Job Aid Available
CDSE recently released a revised Senior Agency Official (SAO) Annual Self-Inspection Report Job Aid. The revised job aid aligns with an updated self-inspection report form, recently promulgated by the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence (USD(I)). It is designed to help personnel accurately complete the required report and ensure enough granularity is included when submitted to USD(I). The target audience includes DoD civilian and military personnel designated or assigned to complete the report. Access the job aid.
