Trusted Workforce 2.0 Overview for National Security Adjudicators VILT PS220.10

Description: Description: This webinar covers the changes and reforms driven by Trusted Workforce (TW) 2.0 that impact National Security trust determinations. These Federal personnel vetting (FPV) reforms aim to better support agencies’ missions by reducing the time required to bring new hires on-board, enabling mobility of the Federal workforce, and improving insight into workforce behaviors. This webinar contains exercises in identifying and defining FPV Framework, Adjudicative Process Framework, FPV Investigative Standards, Trust Determinations, FPV Scenarios, and Unconscious Bias.

Administration of the course is through eLearning prerequisites and asynchronously via Virtual Instruction-led Training (VILT) using the collaborative learning environment (CLE) –  STEPP. CLE activities include pre-recorded lectures, individual practical exercises, quizzes, discussion forums, and a final comprehensive course exam.

Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this Webinar, National Security Adjudicators will understand Trusted Workforce (TW) 2.0 framework and policy, the TW 2.0 implementation strategy, and the impact of TW 2.0 in Federal Personnel Vetting.

Delivery Method: Virtual Instructor-led Training (VILT)

Length: 2 hours

Target Audience: The target audience is Department of Defense (DOD), DOD Intelligence Community (IC), and Non-DOD federal civilians who adjudicate national security eligibility for assignment to sensitive positions and/or access to collateral and SCI program information.

  • Attendance Requirements: Full-time attendance and participation in all sessions and interactions.
  • Exam Requirements: Students must earn an 80 percent grade average on course exam/assessment.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of the following courses:

  • Fundamentals of National Security Adjudication (previously known as the DOD Personnel Security Adjudication course) PS101.01/10 and exam
