New Unauthorized Disclosure Case Study Job Aid

The Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) is pleased to announce the release of "Unauthorized Disclosure (UD) Case Study: Gary Maziarz," the second unit in a new series of UD Job Aids. These case studies are designed to build UD awareness by chronicling real-world UD incidents caused by current and former Department of Defense (DoD) personnel, determining the motivation for their actions, and highlighting the damage to national security. While the case studies presented may not garner national or international media attention, they underscore the fact UD occurs away from the public spotlight. To prevent UD incidents, DoD personnel are also reminded to follow the DoD prepublication review process, as required by the Defense Office of Security and Prepublication Review (DOPSR), prior to publicly releasing DoD information.

These case studies are ideal for easy inclusion into an organization's security education, training, and awareness program. Access this Job Aid PDF icon.

New Counterintelligence Awareness Training

CDSE recently launched the "Counterintelligence Awareness for Defense Critical Infrastructure" Job Aid. This job aid provides an introduction to Defense Critical Infrastructure sectors, threat awareness, and reporting requirements to those providing security services to critical DoD infrastructure assets.
